STUDY MODE

At IPS emphasis is laid on theory and practical. Students receive lessons in class manually and by the use of ICT equipment like projectors. We also organize conferences, seminars and workshops where different experts are invited. Students carry out research using internet services, an equipped library and in various business centers. To this, we have three study modes.

  • Full Time Studies: This is designed for candidates who have all the time to study. Full time students have classes organized from 7:30 to 5pm latest each day except Sunday. Most of our business and ICT courses are full time courses.

  • Part Time Studies: This is provided for people who may not be able to put in all the hours required by full time students. This may be as a result of their jobs or other family demands. Classes for this class of students may be arranged at their convenience. But they are required to put in the same number of hours put in by full time students.

  • Distance Learning Program: This program is designed for people who because of distance cannot make it to the school every day. People living in far off places (Ndu, Nkambe, Ndop, kumbo, Mbengwi, Bali etc) and other parts of the country can enroll in the school under this scheme. Lecture note are sent to them either by post, email or other wise on their request. They are nevertheless expected to attend classes at least four times a month.

  • Holiday Classes: This permits students to learn computer skills for at least one month during the holiday. You can use a summer to complete a three months course, or three summer holidays to obtain a Diploma. This program is run each summer.
